Metrology/Calibration

DQI performs thousands of on-site NIST traceable calibrations a year at our customers’ facilities. We provide documentation of each measurement to meet FDA or other regulatory requirements.

We are experienced in the calibration of temperature instrumentation, clean room controls and monitors (including Johnson Controls and Siemens), pressure instrumentation, humidity monitors, environmental chambers, freezers, autoclaves, spectrophotometers and most other process and analytical equipment.

Our primary focus for many of our pharmaceutical clients is to enable the customer to meet the calibration documentation requirements of regulatory or partner auditors at each stage of product development.

These services are scalable and incremental. We are often first contracted by customers at the Phase 1 or research stage to perform simple commercial calibration service under the DQI Quality System. Then, as needed, eventually move to a self-contained site Metrology program including SOPs, Metrology database, and forms as appropriate for a GMP Phase Three or approved API manufacturing facility.

Process Controls Instrumentation and Engineering

DQI is skilled in the design and installation of process controllers and sensors for a wide variety of applications. We specialize in sensors and sensor selection, PID loop tuning, controller programming, chart recorders, and valve specification and setup.

DQI can assist with most equipment qualification needs. We are experienced in the qualification of freezers, refrigerators, autoclaves, glasswashers and most other equipment found in GMP environments.

Our clear all-inclusive scopes-of-work and concise, proven protocol templates will take the worry out of equipment IQOQ and re-qualifications.

We have performed gap assessments, audits, and provided SOP templates for some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical manufacturers.

We have also performed high-temp thermal mapping of furnaces and ovens for the automotive and aerospace/defense industry.

Lab Equipment Services

DQI can meet your needs for the repair and preventative maintenance of most laboratory, process and analytical equipment. We are experienced, in house or through our partner providers network, with the repair and PM of freezers, refrigerators, incubators, osmometers, YSI biochemistry analyzers, spectrophotometers, Cedex cell counters, GE Akta Pilot, Process, Explorer, plate washers, and most other equipment found in research, product development, QC and manufacturing areas.

DQI is also expert in setting up PM and maintenance tracking and scheduling programs and yearly service budgets and failure rate prediction.
